Filmmaker and humanitarian Steven Spielberg was presented with the National Constitution Center's 2009 Liberty Medal tonight for his artistic and personal commitment to the preservation of human rights. Spielberg accepted the prestigious Medal in a public ceremony at 6:30 p.m. at the National Constitution Center on Independence Mall in Historic Philadelphia.
