Daytona Beach, FL (AHN) - J.C. France, a Rolex Grand-Am Series driver and the grandson of late NASCAR founder Bill France Sr., was jailed on an alleged drug charge after being pulled over for racing over the Seabreeze Bridge.	US President Barack Obama welcomed star drivers from US stock car racing to the White House on Wednesday to honor three-time defending series champion Jimmie Johnson.

The Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula (SCRAMP) announced that it will be producing the historic races at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in 2010, and that General Racing, Ltd., the creator and producer of the Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races(R) for the last 36 years, will no longer be producing the event.	Former world champion Niki Lauda has said Michael Schumacher's shock return will help revitalise Formula One. Schumacher is to make a sensational comeback for Ferrari as temporary cover for the injured Felipe Massa. Lauda, who won three world titles, hopes his comeback will take attention away from the political rows that have dragged F1 through the gutter in recent months.
