ATLANTA — Corey Turner was mowing the lawn of a southeast Atlanta church Thursday when he did a double-take: A public school bus that was hijacked by a shirtless man was careening down a nearby road at around 25 mph, and screaming kids were jumping out the back of the vehicle.

Part of 6-floor parking deck collapses in Atlanta

Part of a six-floor parking deck near downtown Atlanta collapsed during the lunch hour Monday, crushing at least 35 cars. Late in the day, there were no reports of injuries, but crews were stabilizing the building so firefighters could search car by car to make sure.
