Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O) issued its biggest-ever security fix on Tuesday, including repairs to its ubiquitous Windows operating system and Internet browser for flaws that could let hackers take control of a PC.	The organizer of the Pwn2Own hacking contest claims that Windows 7 is found to be more secure than Snow Leopard, and that Safari will be the first browser to fall victim in the upcoming hacking contest. Not all hackers agree that Windows 7 is more secure than Snow Leopard.

SAN FRANCISCO — In a direct challenge to Microsoft, Google announced late Tuesday that it is developing an operating system for PCs that is tied to its Chrome Web browser.	File this under random musings du jour. All the fuss about Apple's forthcoming iPhone OS 3.0 got me thinking. And in so thinking, I began to extrapolate. What if Apple is trying to beat Android to market with a mobile companion/Internet device/mini-notebook-like gadget?
