A baby panda, who has been most famous in Thailand since her birth in later May, made her official debut on Saturday in a zoo in Thai northern city Chiang Mai, attracting thousands of visitors.

The eight-day-old cub was the first panda born in 2009. Thailand's Zoological Park Organisation invited the public to put forward names for the cub. It will choose the best four, on which the public will vote. People who submit names have a chance of winning 1 million baht and a family trip to see China's pandas.
