Canvas Paper and Stone Gallery

An art gallery launched on the web more than 12 years ago. At the time, genesisartline.com was the largest online art gallery catering to the African American art market, created when the Internet was called the World Wide Web, when what it really meant was the world wide wait because you were always waiting for your graphics to download. With a few hundred works of art by and for African Americans, it foretold the coming of the visual arts online. With genesisartline.com as the launchpad, Archer was able to launch a retail gallery in Harlem, American Vision 145, which had a successful two year run.
