Who's that man? Glenn Close is worlds away from her usual glamorous appearance as she takes on the role of a cross-dressing woman in new movie Albert Dobbs

Will she do it this time? Close, who has received five Oscar nominations throughout her career, is being tipped to take home another statue for her role in this emotionally-loaded movie

The movie tells the story of Nobbs, an Englishwoman who disguises herself as a male butler to find work in 19th century Ireland.

But the disguise becomes more difficult when Nobbs is told she must share a bed with a visiting man, who quickly discovers she is not who she seems.

The movie, based on a short story by Irish novelist George Moore, also stars Jane Eyre actress Mia Wasikowska as Helen, the young woman Nobbs sets her sights on in a bid to make her alternate life that bit more realistic.
