Cameron Douglas (l., with dad Michael in 2009) said he was involved in a drug dealing operation.

The jailed son of Oscar winner Michael Douglas got his courtroom close-up Tuesday - and detailed his high times and pathetic past as a drug pusher.

Formerly smack-addled Cameron Douglas emerged Tuesday as the star prosecution witness in the drug conspiracy trial of accused dealer David Escalera.

Douglas, 32, acknowledged in Manhattan Federal Court that he was involved in a drug dealing operation in 2006-07, and again in 2009.

He identified Escalera as his personal drug dealer, providing him with cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin in clandestine meetings at gas stations, restaurants and his home.

"We started to become friends," Douglas testified. "We spent more time together, stuff like that."

He then detailed how he began selling drugs provided by David's brother Eduardo as part of a bi-coastal drug ring.

One New York customer, Douglas testified, received 20 packages of crystal meth weighing anywhere from one to four pounds.

"It was something that just came out of nowhere," Douglas said of his career as a drug dealer.
