Mom Abducts 8 Kids from Queens Agency; Police Searching - USA - New York - NYC - crime - Queens


A 28-year-old Manhattan woman is being sought for snatching her eight children from a child agency in Queens Monday evening, police said.



Shanel Nadal of Manhattanville was visiting with her eight biological children inside the Forestdale Child Agency in Forest Hills, Queens, at about 4 p.m. Monday.

She took the children, ranging in age from 11 months to 11 years old, and left with them in her vehicle, a black 1996 Chevrolet Suburban with license plate EXZ5896.

Police believe Nadal is traveling with the children's biological father, 34-year-old Nephra Payne.

Nadal lost custody of her children several years ago when Payne allegedly abused them, sources said. They were placed in foster homes, but allowed supervised visits with their parents at the Forestdale facility.
