She regularly wows fans with her revealing stage outfits and booty shaking dance moves. But Beyonce clearly deemed it more appropriate to dress in more formal attire as she gave a stunning performance of God Bless America at tonight's special Macy's Fourth of July celebration in New York.



The 29-year-old singer wore a strapless floor length black gown and pink and white necklace for her two song appearance.

Glamming up: Beyonce sported a full length black gown and glamorous jewels at Macy's  Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular tonight

 

She performed her new hit single The Best Thing I Never Had along with patriotic number God Bless The USA in front of the appreciative crowd.

The concert, which took place on Liberty island, looked even more impressive against the backdrop of the Statue of Liberty. 

The show, which was hosted by Nick Lachey, also paid special tribute to the 125th Anniversary year of the iconic landmark.
