New York man facing murder charge in Detroit officer's death
Saddam Hussein Mohsin, 30, of Buffalo is being charged with first-degree murder in the death of Officer Charles Armour, 40, who died June 11, a week after being hit while on foot patrol in Greektown, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office.
Mohsin, according to the Prosecutor's Office, also is charged with murder of a peace correction officer, failure to stop at the scene of an accident resulting in serious impairment or death and reckless driving causing death.
He is expected to be arraigned on the amended charges today.
If convicted, Mohsin faces life in prison.
