Last day in campaigns to fill vacant NY House seat
Voters in the 26th Congressional District in western New York will choose Tuesday between Republican Jane Corwin, Democrat Kathy Hochul, tea party candidate Jack Davis and Ian Murphy of the Green Party in what's become the first electoral test of GOP budget policies.
The district spans the suburban and rural communities between Rochester and Buffalo.
The seat was left vacant in February, when incumbent Republican Chris Lee resigned after shirtless photos surfaced that he'd sent to a woman he'd met on Craigslist.
