Father killed during dispute over iPhone
The three suspects, including a teenage boy, were quickly taken into custody late Monday after being spotted fleeing the scene in a black Honda by cops sitting in an unmarked car, sources said.
The victim was identified by friends as Geuris (Shorty) Tejada - the father of a 2-year-old daughter, Arianne, and a salesman at a Bronx auto dealership.
After being shot once in the neck, Tejada stumbled out of the building on W. 177th St. in Washington Heights and collapsed on the pavement.
He was rushed to New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center but could not be saved, police said.
