Parents, preteen boy die in early morning NYC fire - USA - New York - NYC - fire


Neighbors say two adults and their preteen son died in a New York City house fire that left two younger children with minor injuries.



Police identify the victims of Monday morning's blaze as a 36-year-old man, a 43-year-old woman and a 12-year-old boy.

More than 100 firefighters responded to the blaze. Officials say four of them suffered minor injuries at the two-family home in the Tremont section of the Bronx.

A fire chief at the scene tells WCBS radio firefighters encountered heavy flames shooting from the building's front door.
