A7 Heralds Audi's Arrival at New York Auto Show
As clips from “Iron Man 2,” starring Robert Downey Jr. and a particular R8 Spyder streamed on a small video screen behind them, Audi executives stressed their commitment to superior design.

The designer Ulrich Beierlein ran down the A7 Sportback’s cues, doting on its Bentley-like interior craftsmanship — Volkswagen AG, the parent of Audi, also owns Bentley — and various electronic bells and whistles. When it arrives at American dealerships in May, the A7 will offer just one engine, a supercharged 3-liter V-6 with 300 horsepower, and will list for $59,250, excluding destination charge.
