Fire At Chinese Mission Brought Under Control - USA - NYC - New York - fire - Manhattan


Firefighters say a two-alarm fire at the Chinese mission to the United Nations in Manhattan is under control.



The fire broke out just before 3 a.m. on the third floor of the building on East 35th Street.

Over 100 firefighters were on the scene at one point battling the flames. It took them over an hour to extinguish the fire.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries.

There's no word at this time on a cause.
