Bronx Rape Suspect Arraigned On Charges - USA - crime - NYC - New York - rape - Bronx

The man accused of raping two women in the Bronx a decade apart appeared in court Sunday.

Terry King, 39, was arraigned on more than a dozen charges including rape, unlawful imprisonment and criminal possession of a weapon.

He was arrested Friday at his home on Dawson Street in Longwood.

Sources say DNA evidence links King to both attacks, and that he made statements implicating himself in the crimes.

Police believe he was behind an attack that happened along Webster Avenue on August 16, 2000.

They say King grabbed a 21-year-old woman at gunpoint, dragged her into a room, and raped her.

The second attack happened November 4, 2010 near Soundview Avenue.
