Sanitation Workers Focus Of New Photo Exhibit
A writer and photographer followed Department of Sanitation workers for years, on and off the job, and took many pictures.
In the wake of the city's botched blizzard response, they said they wanted to show the workers in a positive light and remove any stigma attached to the department.
(...) The exhibit, called "Chasing Sanitation," will be open from 3 to 9 p.m. from February 15-27 at 411 Lafayette Street. For more information, visit http://www.chasingsanitation.com/.
