Times Square Photo Contest Underway
In Times Square, the countdown to December 31st is on. No, not for New Years (although there will be some of that), but for the New York Historical Society's Times Square photography contest.
"We feel today's contemporary is tomorrow's history and if we don't stay current with the history of Times Square we all know now, 50 years from now we won't have any record of it," said New York Historical Society Curator Marilyn Kushner.
The museum is asking amateur and professional photographers to submit their digital photos as part of a contest and future exhibition. First prize is $500.
