A 50-year-old Bronx woman was hit by a car and killed on the Hutchinson River Parkway after she got out of an SUV that had just spun out of control, police said.

Marcia Clark-Hinton and her daughter were northbound on the parkway about 9:40 p.m. Thursday. The daughter lost control of her Pathfinder after passing a toll plaza near exit 19.

The Pathfinder spun around and wound up facing the opposite direction. The SUV didn't hit another car, but Clark-Hinton got out to make sure the vehicle wasn't damaged.

A northbound Altima hit the mom. She was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center where she died.
