Four Loko 'All-you-can-drink' event canceled when bar owner learns it would be illegal
Culinary provocateur Eddie Huang was going to charge $15 for unlimited amounts of Four Loko - an alcohol-caffeine cocktail - blended with Hennessey cognac.
But he canceled the Thursday event at his Xiao Ye restaurant after the Daily News told him it violates a state rule barring all-you-can-drink specials.
"I don't want to lose my liquor license," Huang said. "This is horrible. I was excited about this."
Still, Huang promised that he will find away to pledge his loyalty to the $2 cans of booze.
"Now I gotta figure out how to give people enough Four Loko so they can get their blackout. People like to black out."
