Mayor Bloomberg says he's not sure if the BOE can count ballots accurately Tuesday.

Mayor Bloomberg said he has "no idea" whether New Yorkers can trust the problem-plagued Board of Elections to count their ballots accurately in Tuesday's election.

"Hopefully there's enough oversight so that you'll at least get an accurate count," the mayor said.

He blasted the new paper ballot scanners that many voters found confusing last month, saying an all-electronic ballot would work better - and would save New Yorkers from the tiny type and confusing layout of the new ballots.

"One of the great disgraces and one of the things that's hurting democracy is this new voting system," said Bloomberg, a frequent critic of the 10-member board.
