Officials To Break Ground On Long-Planned Aqueduct Casino - USA - New York - David Paterson - Business


It's finally groundbreaking day for the long planned and long delayed casino at Aqueduct Race Track.



Governor David Paterson and officials from casino operator Genting New York will attend the ceremonial groundbreaking.

Plans call for 4,500 video slot machines, a food court, on-stage entertainment and an outdoor event space.

The first video lottery terminals are slated to be open by the end of March, and the entire project should be finished in 18 months.
