21-year-old Manhattan man stabbed to death by neighbor: cops - USA - New York - NYC - murder - stabbing


A 21-year-old East Village man was stabbed to death in his building early Monday by another resident, police said.



The fatal confrontation occurred inside 272 E. Seventh St. at 5:30 a.m., police said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the alleged killer was arrested and taken into custody by police from the Ninth Precinct.

Neither man's name was immediately released and it was not  clear what prompted the violence.
