Mayor Bloomberg won't endorse Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand - or her wardrobe - but concedes she looked "stunning" at a political dinner this week.

The mayor was responding to a question about whether the state's junior U.S. senator looked "hot" in a Vogue magazine spread this month.

"I don't think it's appropriate for me to talk about people's looks or dress," Bloomberg said, "but Sen. Gillibrand at a black-tie event [Tuesday] night looked stunning."

Washington's The Hill Newspaper ranked Gillibrand third on a list of most beautiful people, and Sen. Harry Reid called her the "hottest" senator.
