Ooh la la! Lady Gaga channels Lady Liberty in whimsical V Magazine photoshoot with Marc Jacobs

Lady Gaga, with Marc Jacobs, gets made over into the Statue of Liberty for V Magazine.

Lady Gaga - in a lacy black bra and panties - morphed into a risque Lady Liberty for the cover shot of the new issue of V Magazine.

The "Poker Face" singer's hair is teased into a blond re-creation of the seven spikes on the Statue of Liberty's crown.

Gaga is joined by designer Marc Jacobs, although there's not a hint of any tired, poor or huddled masses in sight.

The duo posed for a pair of shots by Mario Testino. One shows a tuxedoed Jacobs pushing Lady Gaga in a shopping cart, looking like she's a long way from Liberty Island.

The magazine hits newsstands Thursday.
