The NY Labor Department as Your Personal Job Search Agent - Business - Technology - New York - USA

The economy is improving, and so is the job market. And to help job-hunting New Yorkers, the state Department of Labor launched a New York State Job Bank website.

The site, www.LaborNY.jobs (yes, that's the real address), currently features over 84,200 openings -- and is adding quickly. The site offers free services for both employers and potential employees.

Seekers looking for a job in New York register with the site, post their resumes, and are alerted with the latest job postings.

Businesses will then have the opportunity to view the resumes posted on the site to find qualified candidates.

Labor Commissioner Colleen Gardner aims to “expand and improve this site because the unemployed deserve nothing less.”
