Naomi Campbell got a 'huge diamond' from Liberian dictator Charles Taylor
She maintained she had not known the diamonds had come from former Liberian leader Charles Taylor - on trial for committing atrocious crimes in the Liberian civil war.
But two other guests at the dinner, actress Mia Farrow and former agent Carole White, today ripped into Campbell's claims.
Farrow claimed that the supermodel said she received a "huge diamond" - and said she knew it was from Taylor.
And Ms White said the diamonds had been PROMISED to Campbell while he flirted with her as they sat together during the dinner.
Ms White told the Special Court for Sierra Leone: "Naomi was very excited and told me 'He's going to give me some diamonds'.
She said Taylor was leaning forward, "smiling and nodding in agreement".
She added: "They were being charming to each other, mildly flirting."
Ms White was Campbell's main agent for 17 years before they split in 2006.
Taylor is accused of war crimes during Sierra Leone's civil war, including using diamonds to fund rebels.
He denies 11 charges, including murder, rape, sexual slavery and recruiting child soldiers.
