Summer in the City: Last Chance for Some Free New York Events
Shakespeare in the Park – On Aug. 1, the curtain goes down on the last performance for Shakespeare in the Park this summer with “The Merchant of Venice.” The show begins at 8 p.m.
“STARBOX” – Aug. 13, spectators will be able to take a sneak peek in a giant mylar box for this performance installation in Bryant Park, which runs every Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
As New York as unbearable humidity in July, the TODAY Show’s Toyota Summer Concert Series ends on Aug. 27 with a performance by Katy Perry. Here’s a look at the remaining artists for the free concert series in Rockefeller Plaza.
