"Sorry" Note Found At Scene Of S.I. House Fire Matches Mother's Handwriting
Investigators say the handwriting on a badly-charred note with the words "am sorry" matched the handwriting from a diary found in 33-year-old Leisa Jones' bedroom.
Investigators initially thought Jones' 14-year-old son C-J was responsible. But they haven't ruled out the possibility the mother was the killer.
The bodies of Jones, her son and two young daughters were found with their throats slashed early Thursday morning during a fire at their home.
Jones' two-year-old son died at the hospital of smoke inhalation.
