Now Oksana claims Mel Gibson 'bruised their baby' (as ex-wife comes to his defence)

Lawyer's for Gibson's ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva were said to be planning to present the pictures to a judge in Los Angeles in an attempt to strip the Lethal Weapon star of his custody rights.

There are unconfirmed reports the judge today decided not to alter the current visitation arrangement, which gives Gibson daytime visits and one overnight stay a week.

Miss Grigorieva was expected to claim that Gibson lunged at her while she was holding Lucia, who was two months old at the time, and hurt the baby while doing so.

A detective from the L.A. County Sheriff's Department Special Victims Bureau,  who deals with child abuse and sexual assault, was seen at the hearing. 

Another detective who investigates computer crimes was also in attendance.

Gibson today received support from his soon-to-be ex-wife, who filed for divorce in April 2009 after almost 30 years of marriage.

Robyn Gibson has written a sworn declaration on behalf of the Mad Max actor in which she insists he never harmed her or any of the couple's seven children during their 28-year marriage.

She writes: 'Mel never engaged in any physical abuse of any kind toward me before, during or after our marriage.'

'Mel was a wonderful and loving father.'
