Enraged Briton kills exlover's mother, leaves message in blood and commits suicide
The man stabbed the 69-year-old woman at her semi-detached bungalow in the Bradley area of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, on Friday evening. He also attacked the woman's 37-year-old son.
He then fled 30 miles to Manchester where he jumped down from the top of an eight-storey car park, soon after midnight.
He had left a message written in blood on a wall, saying: "**** you", followed by a woman's name - believed to be the killer's ex-lover, according to a police source.
It is believed that the couple had gone through an ugly breakup.
The 37-year-old man, who had been knifed, remained in hospital. His wounds were serious, but not life-threatening.
