Vietnamese man with world's longest hair passes away
Tran Van Hay, 79, died Tuesday of natural causes.
Hay began to let his hair grow more than 50 years ago, because he often got sick after a haircut, the Vietnam News quoted his wife, Nguyen Thi Hoa, as saying.
There are only estimations on the exact length of Hay's unwashed hair. Some estimates put it as long as 6.8 metres and weighing 10.5 kilograms.

His claim to the world's longest locks was never verified by officials.
The Guinness Book of World Records lists 50-year-old Xie Qiuping of China as the owner of the world's longest hair, at 5.6 metres.
