Indian firm designs "armoured golf buggy" to fight off terrorists
The Anti-Terrorist Assault Cart (Atac) costs two million rupees ($45,000).
It has been designed to transport two armed security personnel during or after terror attacks.
The vehicle was constructed following the Mumbai terror attacks in 2008.
The Atac works with batteries that last for six hours on a single charge. It is capable of reaching a top speed of 25km/h (15mph).
It weighs less than half a tonne, equipped with bullet-proof windows and has numerous firing ports. In addition, it is able to get past corridors and lifts.
The manufacturer, Metaltech Motor Bodies Pvt Ltd, says the armoured vehicle can also endure grenade blasts.
