HTC announces Brew-powered HTC Smart

HTC has unveiled the Smart, a phone which will be available across Europe and Asia this spring.
The smartphone with HTC Sense, which the manufacturer describes as "a mobile experience focussed on putting people at the centre by making your phone work in a more simple and natural way". HTC Sense revolves around three principles – Make it Mine, Stay Close and Discover the Unexpected.
The Smart, which uses Qualcomm’s Brew Mobile Platform, comes with a 2.8-inch touch-sensitive display, HSDPA capabilities, 3-megapixel camera with fixed focus and flashlight and a microSD card slot for expandable memory.
HTC added that the Smart enables personal customisation of each person’s own phone experience and provides a quick and easy way to see what friends are up to via various social networks, as well as communicating quickly over the phone, through text messaging or email.
