Google Nexus One Phone Launched

Launch of Nexus One, the Google’s touchscreen superphone was talked about as the most ambitious one by Google and the phone is aimed to challenge the ranks of Apples and Blackberrys. Google collaborated with Taiwan-based HTC Corp (that manufactured first Android-based phone) to manufacture Nexus One phone.
Years of speculation about Google phone came to an end finally with Nexus One hitting the stores’ shelves in US, UK, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The feature-rich Nexus One comes with a unique auto noise reduction feature wherein the background noises are auto reduced during conversations. Besides, Nexus One becomes the first phone to have the most updated premium Google Android 2.1 mobile operating system. The phone comes with a 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Nexus One is not an extravagant device but a neat and decent piece that can appeal to all. Back of the device is Teflon coated and it repels the dirt and fine dust.
However, according to analysts it probably will be a long time before Nexus One can offer as many different tools as the iPhone, which boasts more than 100,000 applications compared with Android’s 18,000.
The Nexus One is not one that can be locked by operators unlike the iPhone. Nexus One has already made some nexus with major operator networks that include Verizon TMobile in US and Vodafone in UK.
