Disabled Major Phil Packer crosses London Marathon finish line two weeks after starting

It's been a monumental struggle. And yesterday, after 15,400 agonising steps over 13 gruelling days, Major Phil Packer finally crossed the London Marathon finish line. The courageous soldier, who was told he'd never walk again, wept as hundreds of wellwishers cheered him to the end of the marathon in St James's Park.
