Seattle restauranteur holds job fair - restaurant

On Tuesday a three-hour job fair drew about 100 eager applicants for the 80 jobs open. Many learned about the job fair from a Craigslist posting, and while most come from a restaurant industry background, the people who are hiring say they've never seen a more experienced group of applicants.

The last time Keith Hudson looked for a job, he found one in two weeks. This time, he's been out of work since October.

"Over five months, I've gone through one of my 401k's already, just trying to keep ends meet, make ends meet. Pay for college for a kid," he said

Hudson has spent more than 20 years in the restaurant industry and keeps hoping that experience will set him apart.
