Motorola's Smallest Computer Yet - Motorola - smallest

Motorola has trimmed down the size of its latest mobile device. The Enterprise Digital Assistant (EDA) MC55 is the smallest Motorola mobile computer to date, featuring a 3.5-inch display with full keyboard.

Motorola solution provider partners have the flexibility to give their enterprise customers the appropriate feature set depending on the workers involved, rather than provide all (often nonapplicable) features for all workers. Resellers can therefore reduce customers' capital expenditures and the overall cost of a mobility solution.

Two models are available -- the MC5590 and the MC5574 -- in multiple configurations. The MC5590 is designed for indoor employees (such as health-care workers) who require Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. It can function as a cell phone, two-way radio, bar-code scanner, digital camera and mobile computer. Pricing starts at $1,695.
