Australia, South Korea sign security pact
Australia and
South Korea have signed a statement of closer security co-operation,
during a state visit to Australia by South Korea's President, Lee
Myung-bak. Australia's Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has used the occasion
to warn North Korea about its recent threatening behaviour. President
Lee has taken aim at China, saying the region is too volatile for
military build-ups.
