Samsung Introduces 'Recession Special' Camera - Samsung

Samsung is extending its line of "Beauty Shot"-capable cameras (announced at CES in January) that can retouch blemishes on subjects' faces, by announcing four more additions.

The big news is that one of these new cameras will be offered at a rock-bottom price of just $99.99.

Available this March, the Samsung SL30 will offer 10-megapixel captures, 3X optical zoom, digital image stabilization (no optical stabilization), and a 2.5-inch LCD. This $99.99 camera, as well as the other cameras announced, will use a Samsung lens and not the premium "Schneider-Kreuznach" lens used on select Samsung cameras.
