HTC announces Touch Diamond 2 and Pro 2 handsets at MWC 2009 - HTC


HTC unveils the Touch Pro 2 and Diamond 2 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Both units run Windows Mobile 6 (6.5 will be an upgade option) and are optimized heavily for what HP calls its TouchFLO technology.



HTC today announced its latest handsets, including the Touch Diamond 2 and the Touch Pro 2, at the Mobile World Congress in Spain. Both of the handsets run Windows Mobile and will be upgradable to Windows Mobile 6.5.

HTC's exclusive TouchFLO 3D interface is used as an overlay on both handsets to Windows Mobile 6.1. TouchFLO promises to streamline application access and the menus that are not so easy to navigate on Windows Mobile alone. Quick access to frequently used applications like messaging and email is one of the key features of TouchFLO.
