Motorola begins 4G testing
Experts have excitedly predicted the potential for speeds in excess of 100Mbps when 4G broadband eventually makes it on to the commercial market.
Now Motorola has started trialling the technology at its laboratory in Swindon and will soon offer operators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa their own chance to conduct network tests.
'Motorola is at the forefront of 4G development which will address the mobility demands of today's consumers who are looking for personalised media experiences and operators looking to lower their cost per bit and gain a competitive advantage,' said Joe Cozzolino Motorola Home & Networks Mobility's senior vice president and general manager.
