Heather Mills donates $1m of vegan to food to New York's poor

The former model, who won a £24.3 million settlement from Sir Paul earlier this year after an ugly divorce battle, hosted a meat-free barbecue for 1,000 families living below the poverty line in the South Bronx.
On the menu were meat substitutes including burgers, hot dogs and chicken cutlets all made from soy. Ms Mills plans to donate three years' worth of "meatless meats" to families in the area.
The community, Hunts Point, has one of New York's highest rates of childhood obesity and asthma.
Vegan campaigner Ms Mills, 40, told the New York Post she wanted to help make sure that children there "have as many nutritional advantages as anyone else".
